Cromatipic® is one of Hauzer’s recently developed technology setting a new standard in chrome finishing on plastics, providing different advantages. It is an environmentally friendly, Cr(6+), Cr(3+) and Ni free technology consisting of only 2 layers: an UV cured lacquer basecoat combined with a PVD coating on top. No lacquer top coat is needed. Our Green Chrome technology provides a flexible coating, applicable on different polymer materials.

Cromatipic® - Green Chrome Technology

Cromatipic® sets the new standard in chrome finishing. It is an environmentally friendly, Cr(6+) and CR(3+) as well as Ni free technology for plastic metallization. The coating is consisting of only two layers: an UV cured lacquer basecoat with PVD coating on top. Cromatipic® provides a completely different approach from traditional plating and painting technologies. It is recognized as alternative for automotive applications and has many advantages compared to plating on plastics.
